These terms govern your use of TriviaQuiz.co ("the site", "we", "us"). By using the site you agree to them. Questions: contact@triviaquiz.co.

1. Who we are

TriviaQuiz.co is an independent personality-quiz and trivia publication operated by The Imperfect Company. The site is provided as-is, for entertainment and self-reflection.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use the site. By signing up, you confirm you meet this requirement. If we discover an underage account, we'll delete it.

3. Your account

You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. You may not share your account, transfer it, or use someone else's. You can close your account at any time by emailing contact@triviaquiz.co — we'll delete it within 7 days.

4. Acceptable use

Don't do any of the following:

• Scrape, harvest, or systematically crawl the site at scale.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or otherwise extract source code.
• Submit content that is unlawful, hateful, harassing, infringing, or fraudulent.
• Use automated tools to inflate points, manipulate leaderboards, or abuse the rewards system.
• Interfere with the site's operation or attempt to gain unauthorized access.
• Use the site to harm minors or share content involving minors.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, without warning, and to forfeit any accumulated points or rewards in cases of clear abuse.

5. About the personality analysis

The dossier and Compass analysis are for self-reflection and entertainment. They're synthesized by a large language model from your quiz answers and reflect patterns we observe in those answers. They are:

• NOT a clinical psychological assessment.
• NOT career counseling or financial advice.
• NOT a medical or mental-health diagnosis.
• NOT a guarantee of any outcome.

Career recommendations, relationship observations, and suggested actions are best interpreted as prompts for your own thinking. Use your judgment; consult professionals when the stakes warrant it.

6. The Compass subscription

The Compass is our paid analysis product. It includes the full synthesized personality analysis (career recommendations, work fit, relationships, what to try this year) plus an ad-free experience and 2× points on the points-earning surfaces.

6.1 Pricing

Current pricing: $9.99 USD per month or $69 USD per year (saves approximately 42%). Prices may change with at least 30 days' notice; existing subscribers will be notified by email and given the option to cancel before the new rate applies.

6.2 Billing

Billing is handled by Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time in your account settings or by emailing contact@triviaquiz.co. After cancellation, you keep access until the end of the current billing period.

6.3 30-day money-back guarantee

If you cancel within 30 days of your first subscription payment (monthly or annual) and request a refund at contact@triviaquiz.co, we'll refund the most recent payment in full. After 30 days, we don't issue prorated refunds for partial periods, but you retain access until the end of the period you've paid for.

6.4 Free tier access

Personality quizzes and the dossier remain free for all users. Only the synthesized Compass analysis sits behind the subscription. We may adjust what's free vs. paid over time; we won't paywall content you've already accessed for free under a prior tier without notice.

7. Affiliate and advertising disclosures

Some product links on the site are affiliate links — most notably Amazon Associates. When you click an affiliate link and make a qualifying purchase, we earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. We disclose this on each result page where affiliate products appear. As an Amazon Associate, TriviaQuiz.co earns from qualifying purchases. We choose products based on archetype fit and editorial judgment, not on which links pay the highest commission.

Display ads are served by Google AdSense and (when active) BitLabs/Pollfish. Subscribers see no ads.

8. Intellectual property

8.1 Ours

The site's name, logo, design, archetype descriptions, questions, generated analyses, illustrations, and all original written content are owned by The Imperfect Company. You may not reproduce, redistribute, or republish them without permission, except for personal, non-commercial sharing of your individual quiz result (e.g., a screenshot with a friend).

8.2 Third-party characters

Personality quizzes that reference characters from books, films, and TV shows (e.g., Hogwarts houses, Friends characters, Marvel heroes, Disney princesses, Sex and the City, The Office, Stranger Things) are unaffiliated with the respective rights holders. We use the character names as editorial shorthand under fair-use principles; the imagery on the site is original illustration that does not reproduce protected character likenesses.

8.3 Yours

You retain ownership of any content you submit (comments, feedback). By submitting it, you grant us a non-exclusive license to display it on the site and to remove it at our discretion.

9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The site is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties — express, implied, statutory, or otherwise — including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of harmful components. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or related to these terms or your use of the site will not exceed the greater of (a) $100 USD or (b) the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, or anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Imperfect Company and TriviaQuiz.co from any claims arising from your misuse of the site or violation of these terms.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for violations of these terms or for any other reason in our reasonable discretion. You may stop using the site at any time. The provisions of sections 8 (Intellectual property), 9 (Disclaimers), 10 (Indemnification), and 12 (Governing law) survive termination.

12. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms occasionally. Material changes will be announced via email to registered users and via a banner on the site for at least 30 days. The "Effective" date at the top reflects the current version. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance.
